If Conrado Gaztea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind NewCastle's goalkeeper Gaudencio Unai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bernardo Satordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Fertus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yoscaba's Bernardo Satordi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Llorian in the 25th minute of play. Conrado Gaztea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Satordi having to make a save. 29 minutes into the match, Yoscaba's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Llorian came free, but Bernardo Satordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Gaztea in the 31st minute of play forced Yoscaba's goalkeeper Bernardo Satordi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristobal Mannuel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Gaudencio Unai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaudencio Unai came out of the goal and Tomás Oliveiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Yoscaba's Jairo Roano got a free kick in the 92nd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the NewCastle players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Yoscaba.
