The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bernardo Satordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Valery in the 7th minute of play. Bernardo Satordi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joaquin Valery went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 14thth minute of the game Joaquin Valery who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yoscaba's Bernardo Satordi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ben Hur's zone, Tomás Oliveiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantino Balasi came out of the goal and Tomás Oliveiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the game, Moises Toribio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yoscaba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ben Hur the free kick. After 23 played minutes Yoscaba got a freekick which was hit by Moises Toribio. Pedro Erlantz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bernardo Satordi. Yoscaba's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pedro Erlantz made a great header on Ben Hur's corner, it was just that Yoscaba's Bernardo Satordi managed to reach the ball for a save. Cristobal Mannuel struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Constantino Balasi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yoscaba. 31 minutes into the game, Serafin Tibalt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ben Hur's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yoscaba the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ben Hur fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Constantino Balasi, was totally fooled by Yoscaba's Faustino Ondino, who 32 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Joaquin Valery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Bernardo Satordi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yoscaba's Bernardo Satordi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Porfirio in the 40th minute of play. Lázaro Pacho charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lázaro Pacho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Yoscaba's Lázaro Pacho got a free kick in the 41st minute. Jairo Roano kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Bernardo Satordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Porfirio in the 46th minute of play. After 46 minutes of play Yoscaba's Lázaro Pacho was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Ben Hur's Gervasio Porfirio got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Bernardo Satordi came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Ben Hur's Joaquin Valery. But to his dismay, Joaquin Valery quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 58th minute, Ben Hur's Joaquin Valery ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernardo Satordi. Bernardo Satordi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Gerardo Mel hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Yoscaba's Faustino Ondino couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 64th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ben Hur. When Gervasio Porfirio came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Ben Hur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Porfirio couldn't finish the play. Joaquin Valery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristobal Mannuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Balasi having to interfere. Cristobal Mannuel struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Constantino Balasi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yoscaba. After a defensive mix-up in Ben Hur's zone, Cristobal Mannuel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantino Balasi came out of the goal and Cristobal Mannuel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquin Valery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gervasio Porfirio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yoscaba's Bernardo Satordi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Yoscaba from getting a goal against them. The Yoscaba supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ben Hur's performance. The match ended with a win for Ben Hur.
