Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Orlando Tristan started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Cronicos FC booed when Ben Hur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Erlantz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantino Balasi made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Orlando Tristan sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Ben Hur booed when Cronicos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Matxin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Gaur got free with Constantino Balasi in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute, Jairo Rufo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anibal Oier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Constantino Balasi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cronicos FC's Anibal Oier got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After some careless play in the Cronicos FC defense, Gervasio Porfirio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonatan Acevedo. The Cronicos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonatan Acevedo should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Mel in the 32nd minute of play forced Cronicos FC's goalkeeper Jonatan Acevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lisandro Silviano lost his temper 35 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 37th minute there was a penalty for Ben Hur. Pedro Erlantz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jonatan Acevedo. 0-2. Orlando Tristan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Ramon Matxin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anibal Oier struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Constantino Balasi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cronicos FC. Anibal Oier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquin Valery to strike the kick off in the second half. Constantino Balasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Tristan in the 54th minute of play. Cronicos FC's Anibal Oier got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anibal Oier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Constantino Balasi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orlando Tristan struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Constantino Balasi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cronicos FC. A collision led to Ben Hur getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jairo Rufo hit a great ball. In the 67th match minute, Ben Hur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Vargas to maneuver through the defense. Ramon Matxin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Balasi having to interfere. When Ernesto Eron came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Cronicos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Eron couldn't finish the play. Valentin Alonso hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Jonatan Acevedo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 81st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gerardo Mel. In the 82nd minute, Valentin Alonso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cronicos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orlando Tristan in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Constantino Balasi saved Ben Hur from getting behind. Ernesto Eron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Constantino Balasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Tristan in the 88th minute of the match. Jairo Rufo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Flavio Bakar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Constantino Balasi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ben Hur were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Cronicos FC's much stronger midfield.
