Edgard Franco hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Jonatan Macerio struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Enzo Telmo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pico AFC. Enzo Telmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Liberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evaristo Liberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Telmo having to interfere. In the 28th minute Evaristo Liberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Telmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of OgRo AC booed when Pico AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Iturri didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 played minutes, OgRo AC's Enrique Jerrold shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Felipe Pelagius came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in OgRo AC reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Jonatan Macerio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pico AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonatan Macerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enzo Telmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evaristo Liberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Enzo Telmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nereo Galsino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evaristo Liberto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, OgRo AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Izel to maneuver through the defense. Pico AFC's Felipe Pelagius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Haritz in the 54th minute of play. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pico AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
