The audience was convinced that Anibal Sol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucio Semeno was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 17th minute, Anibal Sol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chacarita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Benedicto Eate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Eder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Godofredo Maldonado made a huge save. Lucio Semeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Sol in the 30th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Anibal Sol made the kick off in the second half. Benedicto Eate made a great header on Chacarita's corner, it was just that Perón AFC's Lucio Semeno managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 54 minutes, Anibal Sol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chacarita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Sol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anibal Sol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Semeno having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Perón AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Calvet. In the 73rd minute, Gabriel Dalmai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herminio Beltxe struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Godofredo Maldonado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perón AFC. Godofredo Maldonado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Beltxe in the 77th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Dalmai during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 84 minutes into the match, Chacarita's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Eder came free, but Godofredo Maldonado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Perón AFC's Lucio Semeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Sol in the 89th minute of play. Apolo Otoniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Godofredo Maldonado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Perón AFC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Chacarita had controlled the match.
