BARILOCHE's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Claudio Palben 16 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Club Gral Belgrano's Donato Fonda got a free kick in the 19th minute. Rodolfo Crispo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zacarias Quinten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Roque Luar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Quinten having to interfere. Claudio Palben sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Benito Darien fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BARILOCHE's protests and gave Benito Darien a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to BARILOCHE getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Benito Darien hit a great ball. Donato Fonda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Ireno having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Roque Luar made a precise shot to the right of Zacarias Quinten. Club Gral Belgrano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Rodolfo Crispo managed to get in a good position for a shot. BARILOCHE's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Crispo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zacarias Quinten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roque Luar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Fonda couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute, Godofredo Belo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rodolfo Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Claudio Palben received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Arnaldo Ireno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the BARILOCHE defense, Donato Fonda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnaldo Ireno. The BARILOCHE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnaldo Ireno should have stopped the shot. When Roque Luar came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the BARILOCHE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roque Luar couldn't finish the play. Arnaldo Ireno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Palben in the 88th minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Angel Beltza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Gral Belgrano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angel Beltza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodolfo Crispo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The BARILOCHE players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Club Gral Belgrano from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
