The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee felt a red card was in order, 3 minutes into the game, when Aurelio Cesaro put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Perón AFC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Aurelio Cesaro hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the match, LOS DELFINES FC's Leopoldo Velasco broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Bruno Mikelar charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Mikelar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bruno Mikelar kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Gilberto Cerilo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Lucio Semeno made a huge save. With a little luck, Perón AFC's Lucio Semeno got control of the ball when Gilberto Cerilo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Gilberto Cerilo managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOS DELFINES FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Cerilo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Cerilo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Lucio Semeno made a huge save. If Gilberto Cerilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Martin Abarca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilberto Cerilo made a kick off. LOS DELFINES FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Baldomero Micael scored to the left of an out of position Cleto Curcio, making the score, 1-1. A collision led to Perón AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Herminio Beltxe hit a great ball. Gilberto Cerilo took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucio Semeno. Lucio Semeno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Gilberto Cerilo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucio Semeno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Gilberto Cerilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Perón AFC's goalkeeper Lucio Semeno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lucio Semeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Cerilo in the 71st minute of the match. Lucio Semeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Jokin in the 75th minute of play. Gilberto Cerilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucio Semeno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Cerilo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Gilberto Cerilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Lucio Semeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Cerilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that LOS DELFINES FC were the better team. LOS DELFINES FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
