Arnaldo Ireno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Silvino in the 18th minute of play. If Teo Galeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. Bruno Lastur's late challenge caught a BARILOCHE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, BARILOCHE's Rodolfo Crispo got a free kick in the 38th minute. Arnaldo Ireno came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Pozuelos's Roberto Michael. But to his dismay, Roberto Michael quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eleuterio Demario during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Pozuelos booed when BARILOCHE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Demario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roque Luar to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Rodolfo Crispo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernabe Polo was relentless in the 61st minute of the game.
