Mario Cordeal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Mogel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Smith's Mario Cordeal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Urritz in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Escaya's Esteve Urritz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mario Cordeal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 26 minutes into the match, Smith's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Urritz came free, but Mario Cordeal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Escaya's Esteve Urritz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Emeterio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 39th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 46 minutes into the match, Smith's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Mogel came free, but Mario Cordeal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes into the game, Escaya's Laureano Mogel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mario Cordeal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Esteve Urritz to make the kick off. 60 minutes into the game, Esteve Urritz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mario Cordeal. Esteve Urritz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Esteve Urritz struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Mario Cordeal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escaya. Isidro Lixandro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Emeterio in the 65th minute of play. Mario Cordeal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laureano Mogel in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Esteve Urritz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mario Cordeal. Esteve Urritz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. In the 79th minute, Wilfredo Matia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute of the match Bruno Emeterio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isidro Lixandro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Amador Ariando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Escaya's supporters rose to their feet, but Amador Ariando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Cordeal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 88 played minutes Smith got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Sazon. 91 minutes into the match, Smith's goalkeeper Mario Cordeal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laureano Mogel. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Emeterio in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidro Lixandro saved Escaya from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Escaya's zone, Ladislao Gaxan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidro Lixandro came out of the goal and Ladislao Gaxan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 97 minutes into the match, Smith's goalkeeper Mario Cordeal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laureano Mogel. When the final whistle sounded Escaya left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Smith.
