The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Americo Eguen to strike the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Regis couldn't finish the play. Millonarios del Sur's Baltasar Cordaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Millonarios del Sur from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute, Julian Osmundo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domingo Seme was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 74 minutes into the match, Julian Osmundo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Domingo Seme. Cardenales Tucumán RC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Osmundo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. In the 79th minute, Ildefonso Bautista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ricardo Regis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Regis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Americo Eguen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Cordaro having to interfere. Ricardo Regis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Baltasar Cordaro made a huge save. If Americo Eguen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
