Spectators: 6300 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 50) Sporting JPM's Baltasar Artizar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Julio Lop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Gelacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Sporting JPM getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Pastor Perutxo hit a great ball. When Haroldo Gartxot fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Macapillo's protests and gave Haroldo Gartxot a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Macapillo getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Haroldo Gartxot hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Melquiades Evarado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anier Gelacio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julio Lop's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Urbano Emmanuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Gelacio having to interfere. Anier Gelacio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Lop in the 22nd minute of the match. A collision led to Macapillo getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Norberto Aurre hit a great ball. Melquiades Evarado kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Anier Gelacio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Artizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domingo Bernard's late challenge caught a Macapillo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingo Bernard helped the player get up and apologised. Anier Gelacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Lop in the 33rd minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Macapillo's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Artizar came free, but Anier Gelacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Norberto Aurre to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Domingo Bernard threw the ball into play from the sideline. Macapillo's Melquiades Evarado quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Melquiades Evarado charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melquiades Evarado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Macapillo's Melquiades Evarado got a free kick in the 56th minute. With his leg Anier Gelacio managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Sporting JPM's Julio Lop fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 69 played minutes Macapillo got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Aurre. 70 minutes into the game, Baltasar Artizar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anier Gelacio. Baltasar Artizar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Baltasar Artizar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anier Gelacio having to make a save. Julio Lop could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Anier Gelacio made a huge save. The throw-in from Domingo Bernard in the 80th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Macapillo's Hilario Pedroso. In the 82nd minute Norberto Aurre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Elizardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hilario Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rene Sedeni succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 92nd playminute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sporting JPM walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
