Spectators: 7197 (Terracing: 5399, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ernesto Darien kicked off to start the match. Carlos Senen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Darien in the 8th minute of the match. A collision led to Miraflores getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Delmiro Serapio hit a great ball. After 10 played minutes Romero FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Darien. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Emeterio got free with Ildefonso Abechuco in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14th match minute, Romero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Lertxun to maneuver through the defense. Matias Salvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ildefonso Abechuco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Emeterio in the 20th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Ernesto Darien got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 27 minutes, Armando Emeterio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miraflores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Emeterio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Senen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Darien in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute Eustacio Innocenzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Senen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miraflores's Carlos Senen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Innocenzio in the 38th minute of play. Armando Emeterio took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ildefonso Abechuco. Ildefonso Abechuco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felix Quilino to make the kick off. Fidel Francis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Miraflores's goalkeeper Carlos Senen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eustacio Innocenzio. Felix Quilino might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ildefonso Abechuco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Quilino ran back to his position shaking his head. Ildefonso Abechuco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Quilino, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 68th minute of the match, Eustacio Innocenzio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Carlos Senen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustacio Innocenzio got free with Carlos Senen in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Miraflores's zone, Ernesto Darien stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Senen came out of the goal and Ernesto Darien tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Romero FC booed when Miraflores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Salvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Armando Emeterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Darien's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Senen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Ildefonso Abechuco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Emeterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Darien in the 91st minute of play forced Miraflores's goalkeeper Carlos Senen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustacio Innocenzio got free with Carlos Senen in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute, Ernesto Darien reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carlos Senen. The goal made the score 1-2.
