An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Etxepare in the 20th minute of play forced Atenas -cba-'s goalkeeper Aquilino Ricart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Fernando Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Ricart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Transito F.C's Roberto Paskal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Baumar in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Atenas -cba-'s goalkeeper Aquilino Ricart had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Fernandez. Astor Amato kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Fernando Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 96 minutes into the match, Evaristo Etxepare had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquilino Ricart. Atenas -cba-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evaristo Etxepare was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Transito F.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
