After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Mario Seguinus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarasa's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Seguinus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celestino Bernard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mario Seguinus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Fulgencio Frechoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Sarasa's Jeronimo Maule got control of the ball when Elpidio Pero tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st minute, Fulgencio Frechoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celestino Bernard was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Sarasa's zone, Elpidio Pero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeronimo Maule came out of the goal and Elpidio Pero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elpidio Pero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Celestino Bernard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Frechoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sarasa's Jeronimo Maule played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Loren in the 56th minute of play. After 58 minutes of play, DiberTeam's Ovidio Nofre made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeronimo Maule was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice moves Mario Seguinus could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Celestino Bernard however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, DiberTeam's Celestino Bernard got control of the ball when Mario Seguinus tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, DiberTeam's Ovidio Nofre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeronimo Maule narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gustavo Manni scored 2-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celestino Bernard, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of DiberTeam booed when Sarasa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Arano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fulgencio Frechoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celestino Bernard came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Sarasa's Mario Seguinus. But to his dismay, Mario Seguinus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
