Marco Aznaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Serafin Austin made a huge save. Segundo Pacho kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Orain in the 17th minute of play forced ESPORTIVO EL BARDIÑO FC's goalkeeper Placido Ordono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernabe Orain kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Freddy Balesio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bernabe Orain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marco Aznaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Serafin Austin made a huge save. Serafin Austin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Escobar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Aznaro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Serafin Austin firmly grabbed it by the left post. ESPORTIVO EL BARDIÑO FC's Placido Ordono played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Orain in the 36th minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Aquiles Osoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Promesa Granate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquiles Osoitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernabe Orain scored 1-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Placido Ordono, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Serafin Austin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Escobar in the 45th minute of the match. Bernabe Orain took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Placido Ordono. Placido Ordono dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pablo Escobar was the one to do the kick off. Serafin Austin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justo Rosario during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Delmiro Constancio struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, ESPORTIVO EL BARDIÑO FC's Eleuterio Incendio got a free kick in the 65th minute. The supporters of La Promesa Granate booed when ESPORTIVO EL BARDIÑO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Pacho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bernabe Orain came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the La Promesa Granate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernabe Orain couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inocencio Menendo during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Inocencio Menendo hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in ESPORTIVO EL BARDIÑO FC's zone, Aquiles Osoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Placido Ordono came out of the goal and Aquiles Osoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 97 minutes into the match, Segundo Pacho notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of La Promesa Granate's Serafin Austin. Serafin Austin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The La Promesa Granate players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
