Daniel Vergaray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yang Cheng in the 4th minute of the match. Tomás Restu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Daniel Vergaray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yang Cheng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Vergaray having to interfere. Daniel Vergaray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Pere, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 13thth minute of the game Yang Cheng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but social y deportivo's Daniel Vergaray was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, social y deportivo's Daniel Vergaray got control of the ball when Tomás Restu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Vergaray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yang Cheng, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Daniel Vergaray made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Tomás Restu sent off a good shot on target. If Victoriano Pere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Vergaray stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yang Cheng's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Almagro's Tomás Restu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Daniel Vergaray. Daniel Vergaray yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Teo Peru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Rosalio in the 30th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Txaran during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fernando Txaran was shown his second yellow card after 33 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 34 played minutes social y deportivo got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Txaran. Yang Cheng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás Restu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 3-0 became the score in the 39th minute when Yang Cheng elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Yang Cheng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás Restu struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Daniel Vergaray didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almagro. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind social y deportivo's goalkeeper Daniel Vergaray, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yang Cheng made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Ramiro Senio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the social y deportivo and the Almagro players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 51st minute of the game. One of social y deportivo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Almagro:s goal. Tomás Restu walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When Yang Cheng fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Almagro's protests and gave Yang Cheng a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of social y deportivo booed when Almagro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yang Cheng didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yang Cheng in the 59th minute of play forced social y deportivo's goalkeeper Daniel Vergaray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evaristo Rosalio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yang Cheng in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Vergaray saved social y deportivo from getting behind. Yang Cheng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Daniel Vergaray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yang Cheng got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 73 played minutes Almagro got a freekick which was hit by Yang Cheng. Teo Peru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evaristo Rosalio in the 80th minute. The supporters of social y deportivo booed when Almagro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Restu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sadettin Akalp came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Almagro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sadettin Akalp couldn't finish the play. If Sadettin Akalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victoriano Pere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldo Gonzalez during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Osvaldo Gonzalez kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Teo Peru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Horado, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Teo Peru was a little too slow when Luis Gustau got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 4-1. Almagro walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
