In a very dangerous position, a player in Güemes fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! In the 8th minute there was a penalty for ESPORTIVO EL BARDIÑO FC. Delmiro Constancio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nicolas Loco. 1-0. Maximino Ciceron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of ESPORTIVO EL BARDIÑO FC booed when Güemes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Pio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Aznaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Nicolas Loco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximino Ciceron's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Placido Ordono read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Maximino Ciceron spun around in front of the goal 28 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of ESPORTIVO EL BARDIÑO FC's goal. After a defensive mix-up in ESPORTIVO EL BARDIÑO FC's zone, Maximino Ciceron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Placido Ordono came out of the goal and Maximino Ciceron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Güemes's Maximino Ciceron got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Ciceron in the 37th minute of play forced ESPORTIVO EL BARDIÑO FC's goalkeeper Placido Ordono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benicio Estefan in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Placido Ordono saved ESPORTIVO EL BARDIÑO FC from getting behind. When Maximino Ciceron came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Güemes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximino Ciceron couldn't finish the play. If Pablo Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Pablo Escobar made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benicio Estefan in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Placido Ordono saved ESPORTIVO EL BARDIÑO FC from getting behind. A collision led to ESPORTIVO EL BARDIÑO FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Sebastian Caitano hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Güemes's Benicio Estefan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Placido Ordono. Placido Ordono yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Pablo Escobar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Loco having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Güemes's zone, Marco Aznaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Loco came out of the goal and Marco Aznaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hernan Pio charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hernan Pio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Güemes getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Hernan Pio hit a great ball. Benicio Estefan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Ordono having to interfere. Benicio Estefan struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Placido Ordono didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Güemes. ESPORTIVO EL BARDIÑO FC's Placido Ordono played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benicio Estefan in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Segundo Pacho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 95 minutes, Maximino Ciceron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Güemes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximino Ciceron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
