Segundo Pacho charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Segundo Pacho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 played minutes ESPORTIVO EL BARDIÑO FC got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Pacho. Pablo Escobar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Celestino Bernard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Aznaro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Celestino Bernard when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Elpidio Pero came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the DiberTeam fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elpidio Pero couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Aznaro got free with Celestino Bernard in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the game, Ovidio Nofre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Placido Ordono was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of ESPORTIVO EL BARDIÑO FC booed when DiberTeam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Socorro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celestino Bernard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Escobar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
