Eliseo Urdaspal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Pitin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Real Crespense's Eusebio Urdin shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 13th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Epifanio Belmiro but with some difficulty. 19 minutes into the match, Real Crespense's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Urbez came free, but Eliseo Urdaspal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real Crespense's Eliseo Urdaspal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Fix in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, La Pirincha's Clodoveo Maria got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 30 minutes into the match, Real Crespense's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Fix came free, but Eliseo Urdaspal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Urdaspal came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by La Pirincha's Eusebio Erramu. But to his dismay, Eusebio Erramu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Alberto Frances fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Crespense's protests and gave Alberto Frances a yellow card for diving instead. Alberto Frances hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Clodoveo Maria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eliseo Urdaspal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Pitin in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jimeno Fix stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Clodoveo Maria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Eliseo Urdaspal made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Lalla in the 58th minute of play forced La Pirincha's goalkeeper Epifanio Belmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute of the match Vicente Ovando shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Epifanio Belmiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Epifanio Belmiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Godfredo Lalla's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Frances in the 76th minute of play forced La Pirincha's goalkeeper Epifanio Belmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Epifanio Belmiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Godfredo Lalla went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Crespense's goalkeeper Eliseo Urdaspal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Robustiano Urbez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Eliseo Urdaspal made a huge save. In the 88th minute, La Pirincha's Jimeno Fix dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 94th minute Hugo Pitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Urdaspal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. La Pirincha walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
