But to his dismay, Placido Francesco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 8th minute Placido Francesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Urdaspal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Placido Francesco charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Placido Francesco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th match minute, Passionate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Francesco to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Frances succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. In the 20th minute, Ernesto Sayvion ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliseo Urdaspal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Godfredo Lalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Filomeno Rodas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Real Crespense's Godfredo Lalla got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Godfredo Lalla got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. German Inko kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Real Crespense's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vicente Ovando in the 50th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Frances to strike the kick off in the second half. Alberto Frances's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filomeno Rodas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Passionate's Filomeno Rodas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Frances in the 73rd minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Passionate's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Lalla came free, but Filomeno Rodas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Passionate's German Inko ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eliseo Urdaspal. Eliseo Urdaspal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. A collision led to Real Crespense getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Vicente Ovando hit a great ball. A hard shot by Ladislao Reno from long distance, 87 minutes into the match, got Eliseo Urdaspal's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Godfredo Lalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Frances received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Filomeno Rodas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Ernesto Sayvion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eliseo Urdaspal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Inko in the 96th minute of the match. In the 99th minute of the match, Placido Francesco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eliseo Urdaspal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Passionate supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Passionate would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
