Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 6th minute Clodoveo Maria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Rustico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Fix came free, but Clemente Porfiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rustico FC's Baldomero Mendiko got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Robustiano Urbez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clemente Porfiro. Rustico FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robustiano Urbez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A hard shot 17 in the game by Pascual Calvino from a close distance when the talented Epifanio Belmiro managed to make a qualified save. La Pirincha's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Tomas Ixidor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rustico FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Ixidor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanio Belmiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pascual Calvino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pascual Calvino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Epifanio Belmiro made a huge save. If Feliciano Costante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Epifanio Belmiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Calvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Clodoveo Maria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Tomas Ixidor got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience was convinced that Pascual Calvino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Epifanio Belmiro was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. 39 minutes into the game, Hugo Pitin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Pirincha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rustico FC the free kick. In the 39th minute, Hugo Pitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Godfredo Elixio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Epifanio Belmiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. After 47 played minutes La Pirincha got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Pitin. Pascual Calvino in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Epifanio Belmiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Godfredo Elixio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Belmiro having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Pascual Calvino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Epifanio Belmiro was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Epifanio Belmiro came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Rustico FC's Godfredo Elixio. But to his dismay, Godfredo Elixio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in La Pirincha's zone, Pascual Calvino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Belmiro came out of the goal and Pascual Calvino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. La Pirincha's Epifanio Belmiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Ixidor in the 66th minute of play. Tomas Ixidor scored 3-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Epifanio Belmiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76th minute Jimeno Fix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Rustico FC's Pascual Calvino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Epifanio Belmiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 81 played minutes La Pirincha got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Azevedo. The supporters of Rustico FC booed when La Pirincha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Maria didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rustico FC's Pascual Calvino in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
