The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelino Guerrero got free with Angelino Chap in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gervasio Herensuge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Siga Siga FC's Angelino Chap proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Siga Siga FC from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Elpidio Polo sped through Papa Roach's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fulgencio Arias. Fulgencio Arias came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Siga Siga FC's Elpidio Polo. But to his dismay, Elpidio Polo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Fulgencio Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Sugoi in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Siga Siga FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gervasio Herensuge made the kick off in the second half. Ruperto Sugoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Fulgencio Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 79 minutes, Ruperto Sugoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Siga Siga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruperto Sugoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Papa Roach's Fulgencio Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Polo in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Polo in the 82nd minute of play forced Papa Roach's goalkeeper Fulgencio Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Siga Siga FC's goalkeeper Angelino Chap, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Marcelino Guerrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Polo in the 95th minute of play forced Papa Roach's goalkeeper Fulgencio Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siga Siga FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
