Alvaro Pios short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Mario Erasto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 8th minute, Rogelio Otsoa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mario Erasto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Rogelio Otsoa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Mario Erasto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Albino Lluques fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lev Davidovich's protests and gave Albino Lluques a yellow card for diving instead. Octavio George took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Abaunza. Camilo Abaunza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Octavio George received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Camilo Abaunza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lev Davidovich's Mario Erasto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Pio in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to maquina de sangre getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Serafin Leocadio hit a great ball. If Alvaro Pio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeledon Millrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Abaunza having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Octavio George made the kick off in the second half. Alvaro Pio kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Octavio George sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iker Berbiz struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Mario Erasto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for maquina de sangre. After some careless play in the Lev Davidovich defense, Rogelio Otsoa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mario Erasto. The Lev Davidovich fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mario Erasto should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeledon Millrick got free with Camilo Abaunza in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd minute, Serafin Leocadio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvaro Pio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Erasto having to interfere. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind maquina de sangre's goalkeeper Camilo Abaunza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Octavio George hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Zeledon Millrick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, maquina de sangre's Serafin Leocadio got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Zeledon Millrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Camilo Abaunza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iker Berbiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Erasto having to interfere.
