Adolfo Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Luisito Paublo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alvear Club the free kick. A collision led to Toba getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Luisito Paublo hit a great ball. When Ceferino Roano came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Alvear Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceferino Roano couldn't finish the play. If Ceferino Roano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Adolfo Barbosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute, Aquiles Fernanco fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Artemio Sidro, passed just outside the right post. Ceferino Roano might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Artemio Sidro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ceferino Roano ran back to his position shaking his head. Artemio Sidro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Galoer in the 32nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Toba defense, Nereo Galoer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artemio Sidro. The Toba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artemio Sidro should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Roano in the 35th minute of play forced Toba's goalkeeper Artemio Sidro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Toba's goalkeeper Artemio Sidro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Ceferino Roano could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Artemio Sidro however easily saved by the left post. When Aquiles Fernanco came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Alvear Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquiles Fernanco couldn't finish the play. Alvear Club's Celso Bertol got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute of the match, Ceferino Roano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Artemio Sidro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ceferino Roano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ceferino Roano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Adolfo Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toba's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ladislao Guillerme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th match minute, Alvear Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Cordeal to maneuver through the defense. Adolfo Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Ladislao Guillerme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toba. Ceferino Roano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Artemio Sidro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nereo Galoer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Sidro having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Toba's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Roano came free, but Artemio Sidro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Ceferino Roano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Sidro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Ceferino Roano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Toba defense, Aquiles Fernanco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artemio Sidro. Artemio Sidro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Galoer, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Alvear Club's attack was well implemented in the 89th minute, but when Ceferino Roano was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Ceferino Roano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Artemio Sidro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artemio Sidro came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Alvear Club's Ceferino Roano. But to his dismay, Ceferino Roano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When the referee ended the match the Alvear Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
