Jairo Astrada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Astor Camerino's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Bartolo Abascal took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jairo Astrada. Jairo Astrada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gaspar Gaspard's late challenge caught a Deseado AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaspar Gaspard helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, Gaspar Gaspard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramiro Romo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Camerino in the 34th minute of play forced Deseado AFC's goalkeeper Jairo Astrada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Astor Camerino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cóndorhuasi AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Astor Camerino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairo Astrada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Deseado AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cóndorhuasi AFC:s goal. In the 37th minute there was a penalty for Cóndorhuasi AFC. Jonas Mikelar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jairo Astrada. 0-2. In the 42nd minute, Bartolo Abascal made a precise shot to the right of Jairo Astrada. Deseado AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Astor Camerino was the one to do the kick off. Deseado AFC's Jairo Astrada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Camerino in the 54th minute of play. After 56 played minutes Deseado AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Romo. In the 57th minute, Bartolo Abascal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jairo Astrada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Camerino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deseado AFC's Jairo Astrada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Deseado AFC from getting a goal against them. The referee showed Donato Jaume the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Deseado AFC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play.
