Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Constantino Boniel kicked off to start the match. Anga FC's Ciriaco Telmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio George in the 6th minute of play. Zeledon Millrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Telmo having to interfere. Ciriaco Telmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio George in the 10th minute of the match. The supporters of Lev Davidovich booed when Anga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Maurino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciriaco Telmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio George, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Mario Erasto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Boniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidoro Ireno might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mario Erasto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoro Ireno ran back to his position shaking his head. If Constantino Boniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 24 minutes into the game, Zeledon Millrick cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ciriaco Telmo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Anga FC's Evelio Sengrat got a free kick in the 28th minute. Octavio George struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Ciriaco Telmo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lev Davidovich. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeledon Millrick in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciriaco Telmo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mario Erasto came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Anga FC's Isidoro Ireno. But to his dismay, Isidoro Ireno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Anga FC's Constantino Boniel got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Boniel in the 48th minute of play forced Lev Davidovich's goalkeeper Mario Erasto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lev Davidovich's goalkeeper Mario Erasto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Lev Davidovich booed when Anga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Gonzalez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario Erasto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Maurino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciriaco Telmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio George, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 78th minute Octavio George shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Telmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 minutes of play, Lev Davidovich's Zeledon Millrick made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciriaco Telmo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 84 minutes, Ciriaco Vargas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lev Davidovich and the Anga FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ciriaco Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. If Isidoro Ireno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidoro Ireno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Mario Erasto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Lev Davidovich supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lev Davidovich would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
