In the 12th match minute, Franklin AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Firman to maneuver through the defense. Adolfo Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Esiquio having to interfere. Toba's Artemio Sidro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Toba from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carolo Liher in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artemio Sidro saved Toba from getting behind. Carolo Liher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Casimiro Beturian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eloy Mundo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Artemio Sidro made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carolo Liher to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Toba defense, Eloy Mundo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artemio Sidro. The Toba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artemio Sidro should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd minute Eloy Mundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Sidro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Toba's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Liher came free, but Artemio Sidro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toba's Artemio Sidro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Liher in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Joaquin Harriet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 98th minute, Carolo Liher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
