La Bola en la lngle F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Independiente the free kick. After a rather tough play, La Bola en la lngle F.C's Celso Katia got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Jeronimo Magdaleno kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Cordearo got free with Marcos Jerano in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcos Jerano made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when David Cordearo sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Independiente's zone, Epifanio Dominix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Jerano came out of the goal and Epifanio Dominix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute, David Cordearo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Bola en la lngle F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Silvestre Ramond kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Independiente's Amadeo Gaitano tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Honorio Dominix struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Alonzo Errapel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente. David Cordearo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Marcos Jerano made a huge save. Marcos Jerano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Dominix in the 33rd minute of play. After 35 minutes, Victor Nayely mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Independiente and the La Bola en la lngle F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of La Bola en la lngle F.C booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Nayely didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Bola en la lngle F.C's Alonzo Errapel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Cordera in the 38th minute of play. Alonzo Errapel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Dominix, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The audience was convinced that Melquiades Cordera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alonzo Errapel was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. When Independiente's Melquiades Cordera in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Bola en la lngle F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Marcos Jerano came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by La Bola en la lngle F.C's David Cordearo. But to his dismay, David Cordearo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Epifanio Dominix to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Jeronimo Magdaleno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alonzo Errapel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Cordera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lázaro Montay lost his temper 62 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Lázaro Montay hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Marcos Jerano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Ramond in the 64th minute of the match. Marcos Jerano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Dominix, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Honorio Dominix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Alonzo Errapel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Antonio Gorri fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independiente's protests and gave Antonio Gorri a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, one of Independiente:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Independiente. The La Bola en la lngle F.C players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
