Spectators: 6142 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 142) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Roberto Roland made the kick off which started today's match. Deseado AFC's Segundo Eguntsenti got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 5th minute, Arnoldo Nahia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Roberto Roland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aquilesbeta's supporters rose to their feet, but Roberto Roland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairo Astrada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cosme Porfiro hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After having played for 10 minutes, Roberto Roland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aquilesbeta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Roland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute, Aquilesbeta's Roberto Roland ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jairo Astrada. Jairo Astrada yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 15th minute, Alfonso Beremundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute Donato Jaume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Eufemio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquilesbeta's Florentino Eufemio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Eguntsenti in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute Segundo Eguntsenti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Eufemio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florentino Eufemio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donato Jaume's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Alfonso Beremundo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aquilesbeta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deseado AFC the free kick. The supporters of Deseado AFC booed when Aquilesbeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Beremundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florentino Eufemio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Eguntsenti in the 29th minute of play. Aquilesbeta's Arnoldo Nahia got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jairo Astrada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Roland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donato Jaume recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfonso Beremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Astrada having to interfere. Roberto Roland struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Jairo Astrada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aquilesbeta. Roberto Roland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jairo Astrada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Donato Jaume made the kick off in the second half. If Donato Jaume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Donato Jaume was extremely unlucky when he, in the 53rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Segundo Eguntsenti's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Florentino Eufemio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Roberto Roland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deseado AFC's goalkeeper Jairo Astrada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 62nd minute of the match Aquilesbeta got a corner. Deseado AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Niceto Thomas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marco Prejun tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Jairo Astrada. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-1 in the 62nd minute. Arnoldo Nahia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Aquilesbeta's goalkeeper Florentino Eufemio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Segundo Eguntsenti. Arnoldo Nahia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jairo Astrada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Roberto Roland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samuel Paez during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Samuel Paez kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Deseado AFC's Cosme Porfiro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 84th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Florentino Eufemio but with some difficulty. If Segundo Eguntsenti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Segundo Eguntsenti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Florentino Eufemio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florentino Eufemio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Jaume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florentino Eufemio came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Deseado AFC's Segundo Eguntsenti. But to his dismay, Segundo Eguntsenti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
