The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Rogelio Bingen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lev Davidovich and the Franklin AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Franklin AFC booed when Lev Davidovich was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Bingen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute of the match Feliciano Elizardo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mario Erasto skillfully saved the ball. In the 6th minute, Eloy Mundo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Franklin AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Eloy Mundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Mario Erasto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Carolo Liher came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Franklin AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carolo Liher couldn't finish the play. Mario Erasto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Rito in the 19th minute of the match. Silvano Pueblo hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Carolo Liher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carolo Liher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Mario Erasto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franklin AFC's Eloy Mundo got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Liher in the 31st minute of play forced Lev Davidovich's goalkeeper Mario Erasto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eloy Mundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Mario Erasto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Carolo Liher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvano Pueblo kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 41st match minute, Franklin AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Rito to maneuver through the defense. Octavio George received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Samuel Esiquio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Franklin AFC's goalkeeper Samuel Esiquio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeledon Millrick. The Lev Davidovich players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Franklin AFC were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Carolo Liher made the kick off in the second half. If Carolo Liher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eloy Mundo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Mario Erasto made a huge save. Carolo Liher kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 57thth minute of the game Octavio George who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Franklin AFC's Samuel Esiquio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albino Lluques during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Albino Lluques hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. If Eloy Mundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Carolo Liher's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mario Erasto was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 66th minute Octavio George shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Esiquio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Erasto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Liher in the 71st minute of play. If Eloy Mundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd match minute, Lev Davidovich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Pueblo to maneuver through the defense. After 74th play minutes Carolo Liher shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Mario Erasto and just under the crossbar into goal. Feliciano Elizardo kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Feliciano Elizardo charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliciano Elizardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Franklin AFC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Feliciano Elizardo hit a great ball. Feliciano Elizardo kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Mario Erasto made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Eloy Mundo sent off a good shot on target. Carolo Liher's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mario Erasto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. If Eloy Mundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carolo Liher was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 95th minute. Franklin AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
