The tension between the Anga FC and the Franklin AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Franklin AFC booed when Anga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Telmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Liher in the 8th minute of the match. Carolo Liher blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciriaco Telmo having to make a save. 24 minutes into the game, Franklin AFC's Carolo Liher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciriaco Telmo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Anga FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carolo Liher was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Ciriaco Telmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Mundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Constantino Boniel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alonzo Oliviero kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the game, Isidoro Ireno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Franklin AFC's Samuel Esiquio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Ireno in the 81st minute of play. If Eloy Mundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th match minute, Franklin AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Elizardo to maneuver through the defense. After 90 played minutes Franklin AFC got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Elizardo. In the 91st minute, Evelio Sengrat sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Franklin AFC's Samuel Esiquio didn't even have to move. Samuel Esiquio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Ireno in the 95th minute of play. Isidoro Ireno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Samuel Esiquio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franklin AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
