Quinacridona FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Elija was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Bonifacio Heriberto fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored España FC's protests and gave Bonifacio Heriberto a yellow card for diving instead. Bonifacio Heriberto hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 32 played minutes Cirilo Ilixo rounded Quinacridona FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Serafin Honrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Manuelo having to interfere. In the 58th minute Patricio Pueblo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Crispo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
