Baldomero Benvido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Cordarrell in the 3rd minute of play. Jorge Eriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celso Cordarrell in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldomero Benvido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th minute Jorge Eriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Benvido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Iruya AFC's zone, Reynaldo Ticho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Pitin came out of the goal and Reynaldo Ticho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Eriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hermengildo Frances during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jorge Eriz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomero Benvido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Baldomero Benvido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Eriz's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Celso Cordarrell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baldomero Benvido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Cordarrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Celso Cordarrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Benvido having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Jorge Eriz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iruya AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Eriz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Cordarrell in the 38th minute of play forced Toro Vikingo FC's goalkeeper Baldomero Benvido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaspar Bernebe struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Baldomero Benvido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iruya AFC. In the 41st minute Celso Cordarrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Benvido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Celso Cordarrell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorge Eriz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A collision led to Toro Vikingo FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Sixto Birila hit a great ball. Augusto Bortzaioriz charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto Bortzaioriz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Augusto Bortzaioriz kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Baldomero Benvido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Eriz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sixto Birila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Pitin having to interfere. If Celso Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iruya AFC's Celso Cordarrell got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Jorge Eriz could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Baldomero Benvido however easily saved by the left post. 72 minutes into the match, Iruya AFC's Celso Cordarrell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baldomero Benvido narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Toro Vikingo FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Tomas Perfecto hit a great ball. Celso Cordarrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Baldomero Benvido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Eriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Benvido having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Jorge Eriz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Baldomero Benvido. The goal made the score 0-1. After having played for 86 minutes, Celso Cordarrell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iruya AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celso Cordarrell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Celso Cordarrell came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Iruya AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Cordarrell couldn't finish the play. In the 97th minute Iruya AFC were awarded a corner. Aldo Gartxot went to the cornerflag to take it. Iruya AFC played a much better game than Toro Vikingo FC and deserved their victory. The Toro Vikingo FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
