The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elpidio Marques during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Internazionale Mendoza FC. Internazionale Mendoza FC:s Desiderio Gotzon showed great skill when he stopped Bruno Sauveur:s penalty. After 69 minutes of play, Milagro's Bruno Sauveur made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Genaro Roderigo came out of the goal and Atilano Steven tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atilano Steven struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Genaro Roderigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Internazionale Mendoza FC. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Internazionale Mendoza FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
