In the 10th minute Fabian Saturnin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Tonete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Txartiko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Amado Osoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Saturnin in the 22nd minute of play forced Cucu FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Tonete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lázaro Tonete stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofilo Geleberto's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Amado Osoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Herensuge, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 35 minutes of play, Cucu FC's Dante Bertran made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amado Osoro was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Haritz in the 43rd minute of play forced Cucu FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Tonete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Fabian Saturnin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Tonete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Cucu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Geleberto came free, but Lázaro Tonete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Txartiko to make the kick off. Alberto Txartiko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Osoro having to interfere. Dante Bertran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Amado Osoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teofilo Geleberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Lázaro Tonete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabian Saturnin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lázaro Tonete. That made the score 2-2 in the 62 minute of play. With a little luck, Cucu FC's Lázaro Tonete got control of the ball when Teofilo Geleberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alberto Txartiko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Osoro having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Cucu FC's Dante Bertran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amado Osoro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Alberto Txartiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Teofilo Geleberto could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Lázaro Tonete however easily saved by the left post. Amado Osoro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Txartiko's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Alberto Txartiko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Chester FC's Danilo Haritz got a free kick in the 86th minute. Justo Intxixu hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Chester FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Txartiko came free, but Amado Osoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amado Osoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Txartiko in the 97th minute of play. Chester FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Cucu FC had controlled the match.
