In the 9th match minute, Pasleam FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Gorosti to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Cucu FC booed when Pasleam FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Etxepare didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Jeremias Gomesano in the 14th minute really tested Narciso Nerio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pasleam FC's goalkeeper Narciso Nerio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ezequiel Gorosti hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Pasleam FC's Narciso Nerio got control of the ball when Alberto Txartiko tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Celestino Etxepare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 47 minutes into the match, Pasleam FC's goalkeeper Narciso Nerio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Txartiko. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Txartiko to strike the kick off in the second half. Alberto Txartiko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Nerio having to interfere. After 63 minutes of play Pasleam FC's Ezequiel Gorosti was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 66th minute, Alberto Txartiko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cucu FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Cucu FC's Lázaro Tonete proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Cucu FC from getting a goal against them. Dante Bertran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante Bertran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Txartiko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Narciso Nerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play.
