Mariano Txomin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Martin Jerico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Jerico got free with Abel Manuelo in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Evelio Sansone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abel Manuelo was a little too slow when Cleto Dantae got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-0. Castelar F.C's Abel Manuelo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Castelar F.C from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Dantae in the 26th minute of play forced Castelar F.C's goalkeeper Abel Manuelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Jerico got free with Abel Manuelo in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ezequiel Nahia hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. When Eleuterio Gomez came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Castelar F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eleuterio Gomez couldn't finish the play. Abel Manuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Dantae in the 43rd minute of the match. Castelar F.C's Abel Manuelo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Castelar F.C from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cleto Dantae to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Martin Jerico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mitre FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 56th minute Martin Jerico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Manuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of Castelar F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mitre FC:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Gomez in the 69th minute of play forced Mitre FC's goalkeeper Humberto Ignado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eliseo Arnau fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mitre FC's protests and gave Eliseo Arnau a yellow card for diving instead. Eliseo Arnau hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, Mitre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Gomez came free, but Humberto Ignado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th match minute, Castelar F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Arnau to maneuver through the defense. When Eleuterio Gomez came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Castelar F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eleuterio Gomez couldn't finish the play.
