Maximiliano Arnau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Joaquin Musko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cucu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquin Musko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damaso Txeru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dante Bertran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damaso Txeru having to make a save. Alberto Txartiko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Damaso Txeru made a huge save. After 15 minutes, Maximiliano Arnau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SAN MARTIN AFC and the Cucu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cucu FC booed when SAN MARTIN AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Arnau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damaso Txeru acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jeremias Gomesano. After a defensive mix-up in SAN MARTIN AFC's zone, Alberto Txartiko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damaso Txeru came out of the goal and Alberto Txartiko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberto Txartiko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in SAN MARTIN AFC's zone, Dante Bertran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damaso Txeru came out of the goal and Dante Bertran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ambrosio Gonsalve charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ambrosio Gonsalve the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cucu FC booed when SAN MARTIN AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Gonsalve didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Txartiko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Joaquin Musko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cucu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquin Musko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damaso Txeru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 28 played minutes SAN MARTIN AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Gonsalve. Alberto Txartiko in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Damaso Txeru, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Dante Bertran came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Cucu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dante Bertran couldn't finish the play. Damaso Txeru made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Alberto Txartiko sent off a good shot on target. Dante Bertran might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damaso Txeru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dante Bertran ran back to his position shaking his head. Alberto Txartiko struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Damaso Txeru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cucu FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Bertran in the 40th minute of play forced SAN MARTIN AFC's goalkeeper Damaso Txeru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damaso Txeru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Txartiko in the 45th minute. Cucu FC's Lázaro Tonete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Arnau in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximiliano Arnau was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dante Bertran during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 54 played minutes Cucu FC got a freekick which was hit by Dante Bertran. SAN MARTIN AFC's Godofredo Orlandus got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Cucu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Abalos came free, but Lázaro Tonete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amado Urtsin kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Cucu FC's Alberto Txartiko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damaso Txeru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Txartiko in the 76th minute of play forced SAN MARTIN AFC's goalkeeper Damaso Txeru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artemio Pio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lázaro Tonete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Arnau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Cucu FC booed when SAN MARTIN AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Orlandus didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SAN MARTIN AFC's zone, Joaquin Musko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damaso Txeru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Txartiko's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Alberto Txartiko might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damaso Txeru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Txartiko ran back to his position shaking his head. SAN MARTIN AFC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Cucu FC's much stronger midfield.
