After some careless play in the Carrodilla AFC defense, Rosendo Barrionuevo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Rafe. The Carrodilla AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Rafe should have stopped the shot. Roman Valery might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberto Rafe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roman Valery ran back to his position shaking his head. Alberto Rafe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Barrionuevo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Carrodilla AFC's zone, Roman Valery stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Rafe came out of the goal and Roman Valery tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberto Rafe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Barrionuevo in the 20th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes Quebrachal got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Segio. If Roman Valery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Ruben Segio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Quebrachal's Maximiliano Elequemedo got control of the ball when Claudio Elizardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carrodilla AFC's Maximiliano Eleder got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Ruben Segio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruben Segio's late challenge caught a Carrodilla AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruben Segio helped the player get up and apologised. Rosendo Barrionuevo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Rafe having to interfere.
