After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Epifanio Kauldi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antofalla's supporters rose to their feet, but Epifanio Kauldi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedicto Rufio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Angel Llorian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Mouricio in the 5th minute of play forced Imperio Unido FC's goalkeeper Benedicto Rufio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedicto Rufio came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Antofalla's Angel Llorian. But to his dismay, Angel Llorian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Antofalla's Fabricio Naldo got a free kick in the 12th minute. Angel Llorian scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benedicto Rufio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Amado Mouricio came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Antofalla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Mouricio couldn't finish the play. Joaquin Orixe charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquin Orixe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Imperio Unido FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Joaquin Orixe hit a great ball. When Angel Llorian came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Antofalla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Llorian couldn't finish the play. Eustacio Lobo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Epifanio Kauldi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Amado Mouricio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Imperio Unido FC's Benedicto Rufio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Llorian in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute of the game Sergio Remigio made a throw-in which Joaquin Orixe played forward. Benedicto Rufio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amado Mouricio went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angel Llorian in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedicto Rufio saved Imperio Unido FC from getting behind. Eustacio Lobo got his second yellow card in the match during the 42nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Eustacio Lobo hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Fabricio Naldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 57th match minute, Imperio Unido FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Eguen to maneuver through the defense. Angel Llorian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Benedicto Rufio made a huge save. After 67 played minutes Imperio Unido FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Garaona. Amado Mouricio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Rufio having to interfere. If Amado Mouricio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedicto Rufio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Llorian, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Sergio Remigio hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Angel Llorian might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benedicto Rufio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angel Llorian ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd minute Angel Llorian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Rufio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
