After a defensive mix-up in Chacarita FC's zone, Amado Mouricio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnoldo Euloxu came out of the goal and Amado Mouricio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isaias Menendo scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guaberto Domiku, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernardino Urti made in the 18th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Delmar Enol however managed to control. Amado Mouricio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Arnoldo Euloxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Ciro Cordaryal took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Guaberto Domiku to make any attempt to save it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angel Llorian to make the kick off. Angel Llorian struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Arnoldo Euloxu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Antofalla. 56 minutes into the match, Antofalla's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Cordaryal came free, but Guaberto Domiku reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Angel Llorian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amado Mouricio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angel Llorian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Euloxu having to interfere. After having played for 92 minutes, Angel Llorian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antofalla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angel Llorian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Amado Mouricio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antofalla's supporters rose to their feet, but Amado Mouricio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnoldo Euloxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
