Gonzalo Demesio made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Serafin Oalo sent off a good shot on target. Marcos Viator could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Gonzalo Demesio made a huge save. After 22 minutes of play, Quemquemtreu's Israel Michael made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ceferino Quiroga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Quemquemtreu's Dante Efraim got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Coranzulí FC's Christian Veremundo got a free kick in the 27th minute. The referee gave Quemquemtreu a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jorge Urti, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Coranzulí FC's Ceferino Quiroga. 0-3. 38 minutes into the match, Coranzulí FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Efraim came free, but Ceferino Quiroga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dante Efraim made a kick off. Gonzalo Demesio came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Coranzulí FC's Serafin Oalo. But to his dismay, Serafin Oalo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. 70 minutes into the match, Coranzulí FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Efraim came free, but Ceferino Quiroga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 72 minutes, Marcos Viator managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coranzulí FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Viator was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute, Marcos Viator got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Coranzulí FC defense, Israel Michael kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ceferino Quiroga. The Coranzulí FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ceferino Quiroga should have stopped the shot. After having played for 84 minutes, Dante Efraim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quemquemtreu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dante Efraim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Coranzulí FC's Ceferino Quiroga got control of the ball when Israel Michael tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Efraim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Marcos Viator came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Coranzulí FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Viator couldn't finish the play. The Quemquemtreu supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Quemquemtreu would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
