After 22 minutes of play, Pampayasta's Carmelo Estevon made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnaldo Cristofor was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Carmelo Estevon got free with Arnaldo Cristofor in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute, Enrique Millrick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Pampayasta's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Luke came free, but Jairo Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Domingo Raymon came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the BICHO DE PADUA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingo Raymon couldn't finish the play. 36 minutes into the game, BICHO DE PADUA's Genaro Maria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jairo Marin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The Pampayasta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BICHO DE PADUA were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelino Emeterio was the one to do the kick off. Angelino Emeterio struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Arnaldo Cristofor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pampayasta. Carmelo Estevon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute Angelino Emeterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Cristofor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Domingo Raymon managed to get in a good position for a shot. BICHO DE PADUA's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingo Raymon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairo Marin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. BICHO DE PADUA's Arnaldo Cristofor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Emeterio in the 75th minute of play. Angelino Emeterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Arnaldo Cristofor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Emeterio in the 80th minute of play forced BICHO DE PADUA's goalkeeper Arnaldo Cristofor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pampayasta's zone, Leonides Polo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Marin came out of the goal and Leonides Polo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Pampayasta's Jairo Marin got control of the ball when Domingo Raymon tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. BICHO DE PADUA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
