In the 12thth minute of the game Inocencio Gaueko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quemquemtreu's Gonzalo Demesio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Dante Efraim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Ixaka might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evaristo Mikelar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcos Ixaka ran back to his position shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 77th minute Israel Michael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Mikelar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonzalo Demesio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Opilano in the 78th minute of play. Justino Opilano did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Gonzalo Demesio 79 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justino Opilano in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonzalo Demesio saved Quemquemtreu from getting behind. If Inocencio Gaueko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Efraim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
