If Justino Opilano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justino Opilano struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Baltasar Raymon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matadores F C. If Inocencio Gaueko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Opilano in the 21st minute of play forced Mendieta's goalkeeper Baltasar Raymon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Inocencio Gaueko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baltasar Raymon was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After 55 played minutes Matadores F C got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Sesuldo. Gaston Raymundo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 58 minutes into the match. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mendieta! With a little luck, Mendieta's Baltasar Raymon got control of the ball when Inocencio Gaueko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baltasar Raymon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Opilano in the 66th minute of the match. Inocencio Gaueko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltasar Raymon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justino Opilano's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Thanks to some nice moves Inocencio Gaueko could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Baltasar Raymon however easily saved by the left post. Inocencio Gaueko in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Baltasar Raymon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Justino Opilano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Baltasar Raymon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matadores F C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
