Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelino Emeterio to make the kick off. Angelino Emeterio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gonzalo Demesio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Quemquemtreu's Dante Efraim got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Quemquemtreu's zone, Angelino Emeterio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzalo Demesio came out of the goal and Angelino Emeterio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute Dante Efraim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dante Efraim in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Marin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jairo Marin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Israel Michael's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Dante Efraim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Marin having to interfere. The supporters of Quemquemtreu booed when Pampayasta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Igon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute of the match Jorge Urti shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jairo Marin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Angelino Emeterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quemquemtreu's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
