Jairo Marin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victorino Napier's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Pampayasta's Jairo Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Bernabel in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Mendieta's Victorino Napier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jairo Marin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Elpidio Bingen made a precise shot to the right of Jairo Marin. Pampayasta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Cosme Bernard took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Baltasar Raymon. Mendieta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Mendieta's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Estevon came free, but Baltasar Raymon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Victorino Napier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rigoberto Bernabel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Carmelo Estevon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baltasar Raymon. Mendieta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carmelo Estevon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 39th minute, Pampayasta's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Victorino Napier fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jairo Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Napier in the 42nd minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Victorino Napier made the kick off in the second half. Baltasar Raymon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Emeterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Pampayasta were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Mendieta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luisito Rami took the corner. After taking down the ball on Pampayasta's corner Luisito Rami fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Baltasar Raymon quite easily take care of the ball. If Carmelo Estevon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Angelino Emeterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Raymon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltasar Raymon made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Carmelo Estevon sent off a good shot on target. Carmelo Estevon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Baltasar Raymon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 83 played minutes Mendieta got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Guzman. 85 minutes into the match, Pampayasta's Carmelo Estevon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baltasar Raymon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 88 minutes, Victorino Napier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mendieta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorino Napier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorino Napier in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Marin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Segundo Todor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
