Humberto Txartiko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Anselmo Igon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 5 minutes into the game, Dionisio Aztore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corrales's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Diablos de Villa Real the free kick. Dionisio Aztore hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Jairo Fidele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Argi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Corrales's Hernan Argi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jairo Fidele narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Humberto Txartiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Los Diablos de Villa Real's Jairo Fidele got control of the ball when Ruben Piorno tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carolo Gelacio during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carolo Gelacio kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Jairo Fidele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Argi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Argi in the 28th minute of play forced Los Diablos de Villa Real's goalkeeper Jairo Fidele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Igon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvio Pacifico, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Los Diablos de Villa Real's zone, Hernan Argi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Fidele came out of the goal and Hernan Argi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nunez Joey received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jairo Fidele came out and tried to block the shot, but Nunez Joey slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 40th minute. If Hernan Argi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 49th minute, Segundo Leizarraga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Humberto Txartiko to strike the kick off in the second half. Jairo Fidele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Argi in the 53rd minute of the match. Jairo Fidele stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hernan Argi's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Los Diablos de Villa Real's Jairo Fidele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Argi in the 63rd minute of play. Anselmo Igon didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 65th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Jacobo Felipillo charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacobo Felipillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Corrales a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joel Olentzaro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Los Diablos de Villa Real's Jairo Fidele. 2-1. Jairo Fidele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Piorno in the 89th minute of play. In the 98th minute, Ruben Piorno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 100th minute, Damian Ranolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Corrales's Joel Olentzaro tried to score from far away in the 101st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Corrales's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
