Spectators: 6671 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 0) Rodeo's Baldomiro Ikatz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vinicio Intxixu's late challenge caught a Rodeo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Ikatz in the 8th minute of play forced Derqui FC's goalkeeper Iker Ordono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Derqui FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Ikatz came free, but Iker Ordono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodeo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Teodoro Domiku in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute, Baldomiro Ikatz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rodeo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Lisandro Xabel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Galeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, Derqui FC's Ivan Heli got a free kick in the 20th minute. Iker Ordono stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Camilo Montez's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Iker Ordono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Ikatz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ubaldo Ugaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomiro Ikatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Derqui FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Ikatz came free, but Iker Ordono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iker Ordono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Ikatz in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, Derqui FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Mino to maneuver through the defense. Iker Ordono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Ugaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aquilino Galeno to make the kick off. In the 59th minute, Ivan Heli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee ignored Rodeo's protests and gave Basilio Luke a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rodeo getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Basilio Luke hit a great ball. After 81 minutes of play Derqui FC's Ivan Heli was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Ivan Heli kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Rodeo's Iker Ordono threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Baldomiro Ikatz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ubaldo Ugaitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Iker Ordono made a huge save. A hard shot 90 in the game by Ubaldo Ugaitz from a close distance when the talented Iker Ordono managed to make a qualified save. Derqui FC's players were relieved. After 93 played minutes Derqui FC got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Galeno. Aquilino Galeno hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Derqui FC defense, Ubaldo Ugaitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iker Ordono. The Derqui FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iker Ordono should have stopped the shot. Rodeo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
