Cleto Ilazki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iker Ordono made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Venancio Romero sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Derqui FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Daniel Gerazan hit a great ball. Ivan Heli's late challenge caught a Rumipal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Heli helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, Derqui FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Heli to maneuver through the defense. When Venancio Romero, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 28 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Iker Ordono was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Astor Birjaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Derqui FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Astor Birjaio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teobaldo Frisco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Derqui FC's Aquilino Galeno got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Venancio Romero could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Iker Ordono however easily saved by the left post. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cleto Ilazki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Derqui FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. After recieving a nice pass, Derqui FC's Damian Quico tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Astor Birjaio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teobaldo Frisco having to make a save. Camilo Mino kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Hernan Perpinya, 67 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Derqui FC's zone, Cleto Ilazki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iker Ordono came out of the goal and Cleto Ilazki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivan Heli got his second yellow card in the match during the 74th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Ivan Heli hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Derqui FC's zone, Cleto Ilazki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iker Ordono came out of the goal and Cleto Ilazki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute, Venancio Romero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cleto Ilazki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venancio Romero struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Iker Ordono didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rumipal. After a rather tough play, Derqui FC's Daniel Gerazan got a free kick in the 83rd minute. When Marcial Blanco came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Rumipal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcial Blanco couldn't finish the play. Cleto Ilazki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Ordono having to interfere. Iker Ordono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleto Ilazki, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. If Venancio Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
